day 1 we found a rattle snake

...and ate it, tates like chicken with a fish texture

the first night it got cold...the river was steaming that morning

i actually was up at sunrise so i took a few pics

the little fugi waterproof disposable camera left the big stars, and washed out the rest

cows...they defected to america but our cell phones didn't work out here so we couldn't call INS

we camped in the animals restroom this night...a pig and a bull wandered through in the middle of the night.

upper madison - didn't have time to get out the camera while shooting these rapids we tipped too many canoes....Brian's hat was lost here to the river gods

Hot springs...water about 85-90 degrees good place for a relaxing bath
